For Aaron Crabtree, what started as a couple of college elective photography classes quickly grew into a lifelong practice. Photography has always functioned for him as a personal journal – making images of his friends, capturing experiences, and documenting the everyday moments of his life. Influenced by cinema and documentary photography, he’s interested in images that hold your attention through mood, color, and composition; and transforming those personal memories into atmospheric, lived-in scenes.
