Join us for our next Photo Tuesday Virtual Arts Talk with Joe Kashi on March 15th at 7pm. For this free public lecture, Joe will be featuring “Three exhibits, three experimental approaches”, discussing some experimental work from his recent UAA and other college gallery shows, including work that inverts the tonal curves and colors of digital images, several exhibits seeking the optimum approach to combining his haiku with a sequence of images, and an exhibit that tries to find an “operational” approach to “authenticity” in imaging. He promises to discuss his various failures along the way in great detail, as well as discussing what seems to work technically and aesthetically, at least for him, as well as approaches that did not pan out.”
