
Please join us for the first APC Artist Talk of 2025, featuring Miles Jordan, recent University of Alaska Fairbanks MFA Photography Graduate, as he discusses his comparative project “504/907” In Jordan’s words, this body of work is a “cultural comparison of Southern Louisiana and Interior Alaska. Utilizing the diptych form, I invite the viewer to engage with the diptych to decipher each location.”
“Miles B. Jordan is a self-taught photographer, educator, University of Alaska Master of Fine Art graduate, and New Orleans native who has experimented with digital, analog, and infrared photography. Additionally, he does anthropological research into culture and cameras. As a photographer, he has worked in various genres, including fashion, lifestyle, editorial, conceptual, sports, portraiture, analog, landscape, cityscape, street, infrared, and photojournalism photography.”
