Anchorage is home for me, and it’s where I started MEDIAM Film Lab after a run in the advertising world. These days, I focus on keeping film photography within reach—developing, scanning, pay-what-you-can classes, and free photo walks are all part of the mix. With multiple Telly Awards and some NYC billboards, I’ve found much more fulfillment in the little world of film. I’m currently pushing Analog Alaska toward nonprofit status, aiming to host events in places often overlooked. Sure, I’ve shot some decent projects, but what really matters is getting more people hooked on film so it sticks around long enough for me to spend my retirement out with a camera.
