Due to the Covid-19 pandemic – Alaska Photographic Center (APC) was forced to canceled 2020’s edition of Rarefied Light, our long-running statewide annual juried photo exhibition.
In it’s place APC opted to utilize 2020 for a Rarefied “Lite” exhibition.
The goal of Rarefied Lite was to provide photographers with a forum to participate in a statewide celebration of Alaska’s best fine-art photography from the comfort of their own home.
We were pleased to have had 3 wonderful moderators for the show – Kate Wool, Da-ka-xeen Mehner, and Richard Murphy – with a virtual opening on September 22nd, 2020 via zoom.
