Please join us next Tuesday evening for an artist talk by Bob Hallinen via zoom and at Anchorage’s The Stoop, a new center designed to inspire, educate & equip lens-based artists, located at 301 E Fireweed. Hallinen’s talk, entitled “What Does a Photojournalist Do When They Retire?” will feature this photographer’s work through their life. Hallinen, who has worked for multiple papers throughout the state, was also named Regional Photographer of the Year by NPPA in 1996 and served as part of a Pulitzer Prize-winning team for the Anchorage Daily News.
