Rarefied Light Photography Workshop // 2018 // With Arthur Meyerson
The Color of Light
This acclaimed workshop is intended for both advanced amateur and professional photographers who want to strengthen their ability to see and work in color. Through daily photographic assignments, critiques, and discussions, participants acquire techniques that enhance their perception of light and its effects on color, composition, and design. Throughout the weekend, Arthur guides and inspires by showing examples of both his personal and professional work.
The workshop begins with an intensive review of each participant’s images examining what is working as well as what areas need work. Arthur leads group critiques and spends time explaining how light and color work as well as challenging individuals to move toward their next step photographically. Daily assignments put classroom techniques into practice as well as illustrating the aesthetics of color photography. Participants leave at the end of the weekend with a greater awareness of their strengths and an enhanced awareness of light and color.
