Please join us for a presentation of Ellen Davis’ experiences working with the cyanotype process, which is famous for producing monochromatic prints in prussian blue. Ellen favors the use of fabric to create photographic prints and three dimensional works that pushes the definition of a photograph
Ellen is an Anchorage-based photographer currently enrolled in the Fine Arts Program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her work has been shown in Los Angeles, New York City, the Anchorage Museum, and has received local and national awards. She loves landscape, travel, experimental, and fine art photography. She works with digital, film, and alternative processes- or any combination of the above that makes an image work. Photography is deeply intertwined with her love for art, exploration, and adventure.
